At Lines & James we’re continually reviewing & investing in our advertising and to great effect too! However we’re not resting on our laurels. We want to make your property seen by as many potential tenants as possible.

Online

The Internet has a huge part to play in property advertising these days. We recently did a survey of our most recent tenants, which showed us that well over 80% of them found their new property with us online. This is why we have invested more resources in the following Internet portals.

RightMove
We have made a huge effort over the last few years to promote our properties on RightMove. The reasons for this are simple; RightMove is the biggest player in the property advertising business. It is the 8th most popular website in the UK and has a whopping 69% market share in comparison to other property sites. We are currently the biggest investor in RightMove in the Horsham area – marketing your property with us will give your property access to these privileges at no extra cost:

• Featured Property – This ensures one of our properties is at the top of every applicable search within Horsham.
• Premium Listings – We are allowed to make five of our properties larger and more noticeable in property searches with extra pictures.
• Featured Agent – Our agency advertisement appears at the top of every Horsham search which is a direct link to the property list on our website.

LinesandJames.com
This website has been designed to make sure that the actual aim of renting properties is not lost amongst the fancy features – a major problem that we have spotted with many agencies. During the website launch we also re-branded to make sure we kept up with our competition.

Other Property Portals
In addition to our own website and RightMove we also advertise on ‘Find A Property’ and ‘Prime Location’ which do account for a good percentage of viewing enquiries.

Twitter
Lines & James is a regular tweeter, we tweet our new properties to a large en-gaged audience and allow our landlords & tenants to contact us with this new and powerful medium. Our twitter account name is @LinesAndJames

Other Advertising
The internet is important but it's not the be all and end all, we also advertise using some more traditional mediums.

 
West Sussex County Times
Whilst the importance of property newspaper advertising has dwindled over the years it is still important for brand awareness, which is why we continue to advertise with the County Times as, we have done since our foundation.
