Pat has over 20 years’ experience in the Horsham property market, working at several different property agencies before founding Lines & James as a partnership in 2000. Since then, Pat has taken full control of the business and many clients can testify to how she will always go to extraordinary lengths to ensure the highest levels of customer service to both tenants and landlords. Based locally, Pat has lived in Horsham all of her life and in her spare time she is a keen dog walker and horse rider. Additionally, Pat is passionate about charity fundraising having raised thousands in the last few years by doing half-marathons, a fun-run (dressed as Santa Claus!) and organising several themed days for the office to name a few.
Abie is Pat’s daughter and has been working alongside Pat since 2001. Whilst initially she started working as office cover after some time travelling, it became clear that she had the right skills to become a key member of the team. Therefore she has stayed with Lines & James ever since and seen the business go from strength to strength. As a long standing member of the company, Abie has a very varied role and her days involve anything from valuations to sales to carrying out a general visit of one of the 450 properties that we manage. At home, Abie looks after her two young children and also enjoys running in order to keep fit.
Louise has one of the busiest jobs at Lines & James being responsible for all property maintenance issues for our 450 properties. She is a fantastic multi-tasker, which is a very useful quality when liaising with contractors, landlords and tenants to make sure that any problems discovered are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible. Louise joined Lines & James in 2007 and is an integral part of the team often providing a welcome dose of humour! When she’s not at the office Louise enjoys relaxing at home and treating herself to the odd beauty treatment or spa day.
Linda has been an ever present member of Lines & James since the start in 2000 and as a result has seen many comings and goings! Having previously trained as a legal secretary in London, Linda decided to move into the property industry and now has experience in all aspects of the job. Currently, Linda runs the administration department and it is her role to liaise with solicitors and assist with the progression of sales. In her spare time Linda enjoys photography and has a great interest in animal welfare issues.
Kylie joined the team in 2012 and had various jobs before finding her niche in lettings, working in the front office her bubbly personality welcomes everyone who comes through the door. Her role includes dealing with enquiries, negotiating new lets, keeping the website up-to-date and handing new tenancies up until the point of move in. In her spare time Kylie enjoys ballet, travel and catching up with her friends.
Jane runs the accounts department in the office and has been with Lines & James since 2009. Jane has many years of experience in client accounting and Jane ensures that the rental payments are transferred to landlords quickly and efficiently. The accounts department balances to the penny everyday and has an excellent track record with credit control. Outside of work Jane enjoys spending time with her horses, walking her dogs and all aspects of the countryside.
